Creation of MedYacht
2009
MedYacht was founded by Alexandre Vernazza in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The first agency opened its doors in the Marina des Marines de Cogolin and specialized in the sale, rental, and maintenance of boats.
In the same year, MedYacht became the exclusive distributor for the Italian rigid inflatable boat (RIB) brand Sea Water.
Launch
2012
MedYacht launches its brand of boats with the creation of the MED48, designed by the architect Gilles Vaton.
MED52
2016
The MED48 will evolve in size and features to introduce a new model; the MED52, to date, 20 units have been sold.
Shipyard
2018
In 2018, the MedYacht Group acquired the shipyard Repco in Grimaud, which became MedYacht Chantier Naval. MedYacht's primary goal was to provide a comprehensive range of services to its customers: boat maintenance/repair, indoor or outdoor winter storage, and all mechanical and maintenance work.
Distribution
2019
In July 2019, MedYacht obtained the distribution rights for Mercury (engines) activities for the Var and Corsica regions. Under the name MedYacht Distribution, we provide maintenance, repair, as well as the sale of engines and spare parts for the Mercury brand.
As of today, MedYacht is the leading French distributor of the brand.
Marseille
2020
MedYacht Marseille comes to life on the Old Port of Marseille and becomes a Beneteau dealership.
MedYacht becomes the importer of the Saxdor Yachts brand for France.
MED42
2021
In September 2021, the MED42 had its world premiere during the Cannes Yachting Festival. This new unit, created to complement the MED range, offers an exceptional navigation experience.
That same year, MedYacht was appointed the exclusive agent for the Volvo Penta engine brand for the port of Saint Tropez.
Sunseeker
2022
In the fall of 2022, MedYacht becomes the exclusive dealer for Sunseeker in Saint-Tropez and Marseille.
Medyacht
2023
MedYacht continues its evolution and expansion in the Southeast of France.
A team of 35 employees works to provide the best service to the MedYacht Group's clientele.
