MED48 – Version 3.0
Launched in 2011 at the Cannes Boat Show under the name Med 45, later renamed Med 48, the third version of this powerful open yacht dons a new outfit. The eye notices only subtle changes; however, it's indeed an entirely new boat.
Upon its release in 2011, we praised this French-designed open yacht, highlighting the qualities of the hull designed by Gilles Vaton and the comfort of the deck plan. One year later, version 2 was launched with the main enhancements being a higher windscreen and raised bulwarks.
Today, version 3 showcases new ambitions, and it took two years of reflection and work to finalize all the changes, starting with the selection of a new shipyard. The first two versions were built in Bahrain in the Persian Gulf. Now, in Poland at the Galeon shipyard, the Med48 are produced under license, providing real technological mastery throughout all stages of manufacturing.
